Following our previous announcement of CRM Migration Starter Pack that we made available in September 2016 we received a great deal of positive feedback. We are happy that many of our partners and clients have been able to take advantage of the free package for their migration purposes.

Based on the feedback that we have received, we have just updated the sample package to v3.0 so it now covers some important migration scenarios which were not available in the previous version. The following are the changes of the new package as of this release:

  1. We added migration task for customeraddress entity
  2. We added migration task for invoice entity
  3. We added migration task for connection entity
  4. We added migration task for queue entity
  5. When a quote record is referenced in the lookup field, we changed it to use quotenumber as the input and perform a lookup as we only migrate the latest quote record in the migration package. Previously, we used the quoteid directly which may not write successfully.
  6. We updated some annotation descriptions and removed reference of BDD component which is no longer needed after v9 release of our toolkit, which includes out-of-box multi-threaded writing support.

The package is available for download at the same URL. More details of the migration package can be found at our previous blog post.
