FAQ
The KingswaySoft JDBC Driver for MYOB allows Java applications and JDBC-compatible tools to work with supported MYOB data using familiar SQL syntax through a standard JDBC interface. This includes contacts, banking, company, general ledger, and other supported business data.
The driver supports both AccountRight and MYOB Business. AccountRight can connect to Cloud or Local environments, while MYOB Business supports AU and NZ regions.
AccountRight Cloud and MYOB Business use OAuth Authorization Code authentication with a generated token file. AccountRight Local uses a user name and password to authenticate with the local service.
The driver supports SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations for supported MYOB resources using standard JDBC classes such as Statement and PreparedStatement. Available operations depend on the specific table.
Yes. The driver supports standard JDBC DatabaseMetaData methods such as getTables, getColumns, and getPrimaryKeys to discover available tables, columns, and primary keys. Write-only structures can also be identified through the system tables.
