FAQ
BigCommerce data solutions are available through both the SSIS Productivity Pack and JDBC Driver Pack.
Connections require the Store Hash (unique store identifier) and either the application Access Token (JDBC) or the Client ID and Access Token (SSIS).
Child data is written via a secondary input stream. Records are linked by matching the parent input's special `_LinkId` field with the child input's `_{parentObjectName}._LinkId` field.
For the JDBC driver, settings can be controlled inline by appending a `USING OPTIONS (...)` clause to INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE SQL statements. The SSIS Destination component uses a configurable property.
The connectors support access to various BigCommerce API scopes, including Catalog, Content, Management, Payment, and Webhook, configurable via an 'API' option in the connection manager.
Yes, the JDBC driver supports the UPSERT operation for applicable tables using the syntax: `UPSERT INTO table (...) VALUES (...) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE UPSERTFIELDS = (key)`.
The Destination component provides a special output column named `_BigCommerceId` in its default data flow output, which contains the ID of the newly created record.
