v8.0 Beta of SSIS Productivity Pack

Last Updated: July 13, 2018 | View Change Log

The following is a list of some of the key changes made since v7.1 of SSIS Productivity Pack, this is not an extensive list and only covers new components and breaking changes.

  • New: REST Connection Manager, Source, and Destination components with support for the following services: Constant Contact, Freshdesk, Jira, Mailchimp, Square, SugarCRM, SurveyMonkey, and Zendesk.
  • New: Amazon SQS Connection Manager, Source, and Destination components
  • New: We added support for "Orphaned Children Error Output" output in the JSON/XML Merge/Destination component. This is a breaking change, as a prior version (v7.1 or earlier) would not be able to process an SSIS package that contains a JSON/XML Merge/Destination component with the "Orphaned Children Error Output" output enabled.
  • New: We added Google Analytics v4 API support in Google Analytics components. This is a breaking change, as a prior version (v7.1 or earlier) would not be able to process an SSIS package that contains a Google Analytics Connection Manager using v4 API version.

Software Prerequisites

To use SSIS Productivity Pack, you need to have the following:

For further details about the software prerequisites, please visit the Help Manual page.

Free Developer License

By default, the toolkit will operate under the free developer license after installation. Under the developer license, you can use the software within your development environment (Visual Studio, or BIDS - Business Intelligence Development Studio) for no extra charge for as long as you want, given that you agree to the toolkit's accompanying license agreement.

The only limitation with the free developer license is that you cannot run the toolkit outside of the development environment (Visual Studio or BIDS). If you would like to run the software outside the development environment, such as running SSIS packages on a scheduled basis or from a command line, you will need to acquire a paid license from us.
