FAQ
The KingswaySoft JDBC Driver for DocuSign allows Java applications and JDBC-compatible tools to work with supported DocuSign data using familiar SQL syntax through a standard JDBC interface. This includes resources such as envelopes, contacts, groups, workspaces, billing data, and other account-level information.
The driver supports OAuth Authorization Code and JWT authentication. Authorization Code authentication can use a saved token file, while JWT authentication uses an RSA private key and an impersonated DocuSign user. Connections can be configured for either Developer or Production environments.
The driver supports SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations for supported DocuSign resources using standard JDBC classes such as Statement and PreparedStatement. Available operations depend on the specific resource.
Yes. Standard JDBC DatabaseMetaData methods such as getTables, getColumns, and getPrimaryKeys can be used to discover available DocuSign tables, columns, and primary keys. Write-only tables and columns can also be identified through the system tables.
The driver uses the configured DocuSign Account ID for account-scoped resources such as envelopes and groups. During connection validation, it also discovers the account-specific base URL and uses it for subsequent API requests.
