FAQ
The driver allows developers and data analysts to use standard SQL statements (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) to interact directly with Zoho Books, treating financial records like bank accounts, invoices, and transactions as database tables.
Zoho Books requires an Organization ID. The driver's connection manager automatically populates a list of accessible Organization IDs after a valid token file is provided, ensuring that requests are directed to the correct financial dataset.
The driver supports the core CRUD operations: creating new records (INSERT, such as a new bank account), retrieving data (SELECT), updating existing records (UPDATE), and deleting records (DELETE), all translated seamlessly into Zoho Books API calls.
The connection uses the secure API Token authentication method, requiring a token file path to manage access credentials securely.
Users can utilize the Concurrent Writing Threads setting to execute write operations (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE) in parallel, significantly improving performance for processing large batches of financial data.
