The Web Service components are SSIS components that can be used to read/retrieve or execute operations on a SOAP-based web service.

With Web Service components, developers can select between five HTTP methods when sending HTTP requests: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and, PATCH.

The Web Service components, part of the SSIS Productivity Pack, use WSDL files to retrieve and write data.
